(Optional) Configuring the Priority for Sending BFD Packets

Adjusting the priority for sending BFD packets changes the sending order in the case of congestion at the interface.

Procedure

  • Setting the packet priority for a static BFD session.
    1. Access the system view.

      system-view

    2. Access the BFD session view.

      bfd cfg-name

    3. Set the priority for a static BFD session.

      tos-exp tos-value

      tos-value is an integer ranging from 0 to 7.

      The default priority is 7.

    4. Commit the configuration.

      commit

      To change session parameters (by using the min-tx-interval, min-rx-interval, detect-multiplier, tos-exp, wtr, or description command) after a BFD session is created, you must run the commit command. In this case, the configurations can take effect.
