Configuring NAT444

This section describes how to configure NAT444.

Context

NAT444 implements two-level NAT based on the basic NAT technology. In NAT444 scenarios, NAT is deployed on both the CPE and the CGN. The CPE translates private addresses to private addresses, improving the multiplexing ratio of private addresses and alleviating public address shortage.

Configuration commands for basic NAT apply to NAT444.

Procedure

Configure level-1 NAT on the CPE. The post-NAT addresses are level-2 private addresses.
