Understanding Cloud Management
Cloud management is an operating mode of the FW. As a cloud-based device, the FW shall operate in cloud management mode when it is used in a cloud management campus solution.
Figure 1 shows the typical networking of the cloud management campus solution. The FW serves as the egress gateway to provide such services as Wi-Fi access, VPN, and security protection for tenants. After accessing the Internet, the FW automatically connects to the cloud management platform. The platform configures, manages, and maintains the FW in a centralized manner.
