Before configuring the LLDP function, you need to enable the LLDP function.
LLDP can be enabled globally and on appropriate interfaces.
The LLDP function takes effect only after being enabled in both the system view and the interface view, and then an interface can send and receive LLDP packets.
By default, the LLDP function is disabled both globally and on appropriate interfaces. When LLDP is enabled in the system view, the function on all interfaces is automatically enabled.
When LLDP is disabled in the system view, LLDP is disabled on all interfaces and the commands for enabling and disabling LLDP on an interface do not take effect.
Only physical interfaces support LLDP.
On an Eth-Trunk, LLDP can only be enabled on member interfaces. LLDP status of a member interface does not affect that of another.
