Port Pre-Allocation Logs

This section describes how to generate and send port pre-allocation logs in syslog format.

Port pre-allocation (NAT Port Range) logs provide visibility into port pre-allocation and incremental allocation information on the FW (CGN) and help implement NAT source tracing. Port pre-allocation logs include port block allocation/release logs and port block keepalive logs.
  • Port block allocation/release logs: When allocating a port block to the CPE, the FW (CGN) outputs a log that records the port block information. When the FW (CGN) releases the port block allocated to the CPE, it outputs a log that records the port block information.
  • Port block keepalive logs: The FW (CGN) outputs port block keepalive logs regularly.

The FW supports the direct sending of port logs generated by functional modules to the log server in syslog format. You can view and analyze logs on the log server.
