Service Logs in Syslog Format

The FW can output the service logs generated on each functional module in syslog format from the information center.

Service logs on the FW include traffic logs, content logs, mail filtering logs, audit logs, policy matching logs, and threat logs. The FW can send service logs in syslog format to a third-party log host through the information center. The information center can send service logs in syslog format to the log buffer, log file, console, terminal, and log host. The principles and configurations are similar to those for system logs in the information center. For details, see Configuring the Output of System Logs.

Traffic logs do not support syslog format.
