Viewing URL Reports in the URL Category or Website Dimension

This topic describes how to view URL reports in the URL category or website dimension.

You can view top N URL types or websites accessed by a user in the URL reports in the URL category or website dimension.

Viewing Reports

To view the URL reports in the URL category or website dimension, click the URL Category/Website tab.

Parameter

Description

URL Category

The URL category includes URL sub-categories. URL sub-categories are measured for top rankings.

Type

URL categories are classified into the following types:
  • User-defined
  • Predefined
  • Blacklisted
  • Whitelisted

Customizing Generated Reports

You can narrow the search range to view top rankings of URL types or websites in a specific dimension using the advanced search function. To customize generated reports, specify one or more search conditions in Add Filter, and click Refresh. Advanced search supports the following search conditions:
  • Source Address: You can view top N number of URL access times based on this source IP address.
  • Destination Address: You can view top N number of URL access times based on this destination IP address.
  • Application: You can view top N number of URL access times based on this application.
  • User: You can view top N number of URLs accessed based on this user.
  • URL Category:

    For URL reports in the URL category dimension, you can view the number of access times based on the specified URL category.

    For URL reports in the website dimension, you can view the top N number of access times based on the specified URL category of the website.

  • Website:

    For URL reports in the URL category dimension, you can view the number of access times based on the URL category of the specified website.

    For URL reports in the website dimension, you can view the top N number of website access times.

For example, you can view top N number of URL Category by source address 192.168.10.2. The following figure shows the specific operations and displayed information.

Drilling Traffic Data by User or Source Address of Site-specific URL Reports

Only the USG6000E (not including USG6510E/6510E-POE/6530E) support this function.

Site-specific URL reports allow you to drill traffic data by user or source address. Click a data link. The application traffic corresponding to the data will be displayed.

URL category-specific URL reports do not support traffic data drilling by user or source address.
