Checking System Statistics Using the Web UI

This section describes how to use the Web UI to view the statistics on sessions and sent/received/discarded packets.

Choose Monitor > System Statistics to display the system statistics page.

Action	Description
Start	Click Start to enable system statistics, which is enabled by default.
End	After clicking End, the device does not record detailed system statistics.
Refresh	Click Refresh to display the latest statistics.
Details	Click Details to display the following items in details:
Clear	Click Clear to delete historical statistics on sent, received, and discarded packets. NOTE: Session statistics will be cleared only after device restart.

Statistical Item		Description
Number of Sessions		This item is controlled by the enabling status of system statistics collection. The statistics collected are those after you click Start.
Number of Sent and Received IP Packets NOTE: This item is controlled by the enabling status of system statistics collection. The statistics collected are those after you click Start.	Total	Total number of sent and received IP packets.
	Forwarded	Number of IP packets, excluding those sent to or from the device.
	Fragmented	Number of sent and received fragmented IP packets.
	Other	Number of non-TCP/UDP/ICMP packets.
	Local	Number of packets sent to or from the device.
Number of Discarded Packets		Number of packets discarded due to different causes. This item is not controlled by the enabling status of system statistics collection. The statistics collected include all packets that are discarded before the collection starts.
