Enabling the LSP Trap Function

By configuring the trap function on an LSP, you can notify the NMS of the changes in the LSP status.

Run the following commands in the system view to notify the Network Management System (NMS) of LSP status changes.

1. Access the system view.

   system-view

2. Enable the trap function for the LSPM module.

   snmp-agent trap enable feature-name mpls_lspm trap-name trapname

3. Set the interval for suppressing excess LSP traps.

   snmp-agent trap suppress feature-name lsp trap-name { mplsxcup | mplsxcdown } trap-interval trap-interval [ max-trap-number max-trap-number ]

   By default, the interval for suppressing excess LSP traps is 60 seconds.
