Configuring the Private Network Static Route on the PE

This section describes how to configure static routes on PEs to forward packets from the VPN to the Internet.

Context

Perform the following steps on the PE.

Procedure

Access the system view.

Configure a static route from the VPN to the Internet.

ip route-static vpn-instance vpn-source-name destination-address { mask | mask-length } nexthop-address public [ preference preference | tag tag ]^* [ description text ]

The next-hop address is a public network address.
