After completing the BGP/MPLS IP VPN configuration, you
can run the display, ping, or tracert commands to view the running
information. If necessary, you can clear statistics or enable the
debugging function.

After completing the configuration, you can run the ping command to check the connectivity between a sender and a destination address. You can also run the tracert command to view the gateways, through which the packets sent by the sender to a destination address pass.

After completing the BGP/MPLS IP VPN configuration, you can run the display commands in any view to view the BGP/MPLS IP VPN configuration.

Clearing BGP Statistics of a VPN Instance

Before recollecting statistics about the BGP peer flapping of a specified VPN instance, run a reset command in the user view. Cleared statistics cannot be restored.

Resetting BGP Connections

After completing the BGP configuration, you can warm reset or reset BGP connection so that the new configuration takes effect. Resetting a BGP connection interrupts the VPN service. Exercise caution when performing this operation.
