The period for an interface to keep the prune state can
be set either globally or on an interface. After the period expires,
the pruned interface starts to forward messages again. If the multicast
device receives a State-Refresh message before the period expires,
it resets the timer, that is, it refreshes the prune state.

Before adjusting control parameters for prune, complete
the following tasks:

- Global Configuration
- Access the system view.

- Access the PIM view.
pim [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name ]
- Set the period during which the downstream interface
is in the Prune state.
holdtime join-prune interval
After the period expires,
the pruned interface starts to forward packets again. Before the period
expires, the FW refreshes the Prune state when receiving a State-Refresh message.
