Maintaining PIM-DM

You can run related commands to check the PIM-DM running status. If necessary, you can clear statistics on PIM-DM control messages or enable the PIM-DM debugging.

Monitoring the PIM-DM Running Status: In routine maintenance, you can run related commands in any view to display the information about the PIM-DM running status.

Clearing Statistics on PIM Control Messages: If you need to re-collect the statistics about PIM control messages, you can reset the existent statistics. Note that the statistics cannot be restored after you reset them. This operation does not affect normal running of PIM.

Debugging PIM-DM: When PIM-DM runs abnormally, you can run related commands in the user view to debug the PIM, then check the debugging information, and locate the fault.
