Clearing Interface Statistics

After interface statistics are cleared, you can start the statistics again, which helps you know the traffic volume and rate on interfaces at any time.

Statistics cannot be restored after you clear it. So, confirm the action before you use the command.

To clear the interface statistics collected through the NMS or with the display interface command, run the following reset counters commands in the user view. After that, you can clear the traffic statistics on the interfaces again.

You can run a reset command in the user view to clear the statistics of interfaces. Table 1 lists the display commands.
