A quota control policy defines users whose quota needs
to be managed and references a quota profile to perform corresponding
monitoring, management, and control.
Prerequisites
You have configured the quota profile.
You have specified users whose quota statistics need to be
collected, managed, and controlled.
You have specified the validity period of the quota control
policy.
Procedure
- In the system view, access the quota control policy view.

- In the quota control policy view, create a quota control
policy and access its view.
rule name rule-name
After that, you can run the rule rename old-name new-name command to rename this policy.
- Optional: Configure description information
of the quota control policy.
description description
- Optional: Configure a tag for the policy.
add tag tag-name
After policies reference tags, you can query
policies based on tags and delete, move, enable, or disable policies
in batches based on query results. For the tag description and configuration,
see Tag.
- Configure the user (group) whose quota needs to be managed.
user { username user-name &<1-6> | user-group user-group-name &<1-6> | security-group security-group-name &<1-6> | any }
- The Internet access resource quota is individually configured
for each user. If the quota control policy involves multiple users
or user groups, each user exclusively enjoys this quota.
- If any is configured, the quota of
all users is counted and controlled. Therefore, use this parameter
with caution. Otherwise, users in a large scale may complain about
slow Internet access or Internet access failures.
- Specify the validity period of the quota control policy.
time-range time-range-name
- Enable the quota statistics collection function of the
quota control policy and specify the corresponding quota profile.
action quota profile profile-name
Follow-up Procedure
After completing the policy configuration, you can:
- Run the rule move rule-name1 { { after | before } rule-name2 | up | down | top | bottom } command in the quota control policy view to move the quota control
policy.
- Run the rule copy rule-name new-rule-name command in the quota control
policy view to copy the quota control policy.
- Run the enable or disable command in the quota control policy view to enable
or disable the current quota control policy.
