Configuring BGP4+ Reliability

You can configure BGP4+ Tracking, association between BGP4+ and BFD, and BGP4+ GR to speed up BGP4+ network convergence and improve BGP4+ reliability.

Configuring BGP4+ Tracking: Easy to deploy, BGP4+ tracking can speed up network convergence and adjust the interval between a peer's being discovered unreachable and the connection's being torn down.

Configuring BFD for BGP4+: By configuring BFD for BGP4+, you can provide a fast fault detection mechanism for BGP4+, and therefore speed up network convergence.
