Checking the Configuration

After SNMPv3 functions are configured, you can view the SNMPv3 configurations.

Prerequisites

The configurations of SNMPv3 functions are complete.

Procedure

  1. Run the display snmp-agent sys-info version command to check the enabled SNMP version.
  2. Run the display acl acl-number command to check the rules in the specified ACL.
  3. Run the display snmp-agent mib-view command to check the MIB view.
  4. Run the display snmp-agent sys-info contact command to check the equipment administrator's contact information.
  5. Run the display snmp-agent sys-info location command to check the location of the device.
  6. Run the display snmp-agent target-host command to view information about all destination hosts, such as the IP addresses.
  7. Run the display snmp-agent inform command to view inform parameters configured globally and on a specified destination host.
  8. Run the display snmp-agent trap all command to view whether the device is enabled to send alarms to the NMS.
  9. Run the display snmp-agent statistics command to view the statistics of SNMP packets.
  10. Run the display current-configuration | include max-size command to view the current snmp packet Maximum size.
  11. Run the display current-configuration | include trap command to view configurations of the trap function.
  12. Run the display snmp-agent extend error-code status command to check whether the extended error code function is enabled on the SNMP agent.
  13. Run the display snmp-agent group [ group-name ] command to view information about the SNMPv3 user group.
  14. Run the display snmp-agent usm-user [ engineid engineid | group group-name | username user-name ]* command to view information about the SNMPv3 users in the user group.
