Maintaining SSL VPN

Context

You can monitor SSL VPN services, including querying information about the SSL VPN gateway and online SSL VPN users and disconnecting online SSL VPN users.

Procedure

• Query SSL VPN gateway information.
  1. Choose Network > SSL VPN > Monitor.
  2. In Online Information about the Virtual Gateway, query the number of connections and traffic information about the SSL VPN gateway. See the following table for the parameter descriptions.

     Parameter	Description
     SSL VPN	Virtual gateway name.
     Online Users	Number of online SSL VPN users.
     Service Connections	Total number of SSL VPN service connections under the SSL VPN gateway.
     Intranet Traffic Flow	Amount of the traffic between the SSL VPN gateway and various intranet devices that provide multiple resources. Web Proxy: amount of the traffic between the SSL VPN gateway and servers that provide web proxy resources. File Sharing: amount of the traffic between the SSL VPN gateway and servers that provide file sharing resources. Port Forwarding: amount of the traffic between the SSL VPN gateway and servers that provide port forwarding resources. Network Extension: amount of the traffic between the SSL VPN gateway and servers that provide network extension resources.
     Extranet Access Flow	Amount of the traffic between the SSL VPN gateway and clients.

• Query information about online SSL VPN users.
  1. Choose Network > SSL VPN > Monitor.
  2. In Online Information about the User, query information about online SSL VPN users. See the following table for the parameter descriptions.

     Parameter	Description
     User	Name of an online SSL VPN user.
     SSL VPN	Virtual gateway to which the user logs in
     User Online Time	Date and time when an SSL VPN user successfully logged in to the SSL VPN gateway.
     Access IP Address	IP address of the virtual gateway accessed by users
     Allocated IP Address	IP address assigned by the virtual gateway to an access user
     Upstream (MB)	Amount of the traffic sent by an SSL VPN client to the SSL VPN gateway.
     Downstream (MB)	Amount of the traffic sent by the SSL VPN gateway to an SSL VPN client.
     Authentication	Authentication mode for online SSL VPN users. Anonymous Certificate LOCAL LDAP RADIUS AD HWTACACS

• Disconnect online SSL VPN users.
  1. Choose Network > SSL VPN > Monitor.
  2. In Online User List, select a user that you want to disconnect and click Disconnect. In the displayed dialog box, click Yes.
     

     Disconnecting online SSL VPN users interrupts the SSL VPN user service.
