Customizing Resources
This section describes how to customize resource files. Users can download the resource files to customize their portal pages. Currently, you can only upload app files through the CLI for users to download apps.
Context
Resource customization does not apply to predefined portal pages. After a user clicks the resource download link on the portal customization page, the FW returns resource files.
The format of the resource download link added on the portal customization page is http://10.1.1.1:8887/portaldownload/test.apk.
- http://10.1.1.1:8887 indicates the address that accesses the FW. 10.1.1.1 is the FW interface IP address. The protocol (HTTP or HTTPS) and port number must be the same as those configured in the user-manage web-authentication [ security ] port port-number command.
- test.apk indicates the resource file name.
Procedure
- Access the system view.
- Configure the FW to download app files from the SFTP server.
To download app files, note that the size of each app file cannot exceed 60 MB, and a maximum of three app files can be downloaded. The files are downloaded to the portaldownload folder on the CF card, and the path cannot be specified.
If the correct user name and password are used but file downloading fails, the device might have been locked because incorrect user names and passwords are used before. You can try again later.
You are not advised to use FTP to upload resource files to the portaldownload folder on the CF card of the FW. The resource customization list displays a maximum of three files. If more than three files are uploaded through FTP, only three of them are displayed.
