add device-category

Function

The add device-category command adds devices to a device group.

The undo add device-category command deletes devices from a device group.

Format

add device-category category-name

undo add device-category category-name

category-name	Specifies a device type name.	The device type name must exist on the local system.

Usage Guidelines

A maximum of 512 devices can be added to a device group.

You can add devices to either a predefined device group or a user-defined device group. One device can belong to multiple device groups.

You can run the display device-classification device-category all command to check all local device types.
