advise-to

Function

The advise-to command sets the IP address of the FW that receives automatic online user synchronization messages.

The undo advise-to command cancels the setting.

Format

advise-to address ip-address port port-number

undo advise-to address ip-address

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
address ip-address	Specifies the IP address of the FW that receives automatic online user synchronization messages.	The value is in dotted decimal notation.
port port-number	Specifies the port number of the FW that receives automatic online user synchronization messages. The value must be the same as local-server port on the peer.	It is an integer ranging from 1025 to 50000.

Usage Guidelines

A synchronization message can be sent to a maximum of 10 FWs at the same time.

When a user logs in to or out from the FW through built-in portal authentication and AD/Agile Controller/RADIUS SSO, the FW sends the user login or logout message to the FW that receives automatic online user synchronization messages so that the FWs keep the same online user entries.

Example
