Function

The anti-ddos auto-defend car command sets the committed access rate (CAR) for traffic attacks.

The undo anti-ddos auto-defend car command cancels the CAR settings for traffic attacks.

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
car-value	Specifies the CAR for traffic attacks.	The value can be 0 or an integer ranging from 100 to 1,000,000 in pps. The value 0 indicates that all packets that match the rate limit rule are discarded.

Usage Guidelines

By default, the CAR is not set for traffic attacks.

After the rate of session packets of attack traffic reaches the specified CAR, the device limits the rate of the attack traffic to reduce the CPU usage of the MPU.
