The auto-recover command sets the bypass state switchback mode to auto.
The undo auto-recover command sets the bypass state switchback mode to manual.
If the device is powered off or restarted unexpectedly, the interfaces in a bypass interface pair automatically enter the bypass state. When the device recovers, the interfaces decide whether to switch back to the non-bypass state according to the setting of the state switchback mode:
When the state switchback mode is set to auto (auto-recover), if the switch bypass command has been configured before recovery, the interfaces stay in bypass state. Otherwise, the interfaces automatically switch to the non-bypass state.
When the state switchback mode is set to manual (undo auto-recover), the interfaces stay in bypass state. To switch the interfaces to the non-bypass state, you need to manually run the undo switch bypass command.
By default, the state switchback mode is auto.
