Usage Guidelines

You can run the bind manager-user command to bind an administrator account to a specific role to obtain configuration permission assigned to the role. Role priorities take precedence over administrator levels. If an account is bound to a specific role, the role determines configuration permission. If an account is not bound to any role, the administrator level determines configuration permission.

Only the device-admin(monitor) role can be bound to an account whose service type is API. The account bound to the device-admin(monitor) role has only the device monitoring permission.

Example

# Bind an administrator account named abc to the role named system-admin.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] aaa
[sysname-aaa] bind manager-user abc role system-admin
