The clear ip df command enables the function of clearing non-fragment flags in packets.

The undo clear ip df command disables the function of clearing non-fragment flags in packets.

Usage Guidelines

This command applies only to Layer-3 interfaces.

By default, if packets with non-fragment flags are longer than the MTU, the FW clears the non-fragment flags in packets.

The undo clear ip df command takes effect only on the broadcast and multicast packets generated on the FW.
