Function

The client-patch command configures the status of the SSL VPN client patch.

client-patch { load | active | deactive | run | delete }

3: Management level

The name of the patch file must be clientpatchmain. If the file name already exists, the file is automatically deleted.

The client patch can function as soon as it is enabled without need of rebooting the FW.

The differences between the client patches in active and run status are as follows:

After the FW is rebooted, the client patch in active status becomes idle. Both the client-patch deactive and the client-patch delete commands are valid for client patches in active status.
After the FW is rebooted, the client patch in run status is still valid. The client-patch delete command rather than the client-patch deactive command is valid for client patches in run status.
