cluster backup node-num

Function

The cluster backup node-num command sets the number of backup nodes in a cluster.

Format

cluster backup node-num node-num

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
node-num

Specifies the number of backup nodes in a cluster.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 7. The default value is 2. For example, if the value is 2, service entries on a device will be backed up to other two member devices.

Usage Guidelines

Configuration Impact

Each business group determines its backup relationship based on priorities.

You should appropriately set the number of backup nodes. If a large value is set, a large amount of bandwidth will be occupied for backup, compromising the performance of the cluster system.
