| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| node-id | Specifies the ID of a member in the cluster. |
The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 8. |
Configuration Impact
When the device upgrade or maintenance is needed, you can run the cluster node maintenance command to force the device into a maintenance status so that the device will not preempt to be the master device. If no other device in the business group can be the master device, the device can still be the master device.
Precautions
Running the cluster node maintenance command on the master device will trigger the master/backup switchover. After the new master device is generated, the device becomes the second place in the business group.
After the upgrade or maintenance is completed, run the undo cluster node maintenance command to restore the device to a normal status.
