Usage Guidelines

To create a static BFD session, you must set the local and remote discriminators. In addition, the local discriminator of the local end and the remote discriminator of the remote end must be the same.

Once being configured successfully, the local and the remote identifiers cannot be modified.

For the BFD session adopting the default multicast address, the local and the remote identifiers should be different.

Example

# Configure the local identifier of the BFD session to 80 and the remote identifier to 800.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] bfd pos0
[sysname-bfd-session-pos0] discriminator local 80
[sysname-bfd-session-pos0] discriminator remote 800
