dns-server (Virtual gateway Basic View)

Function

The dns-server command configures the IP address of a DNS server.

The undo dns-server command cancels the configuration of the IP address of a DNS server.

Format

dns-server ip1 [ ip2 [ ip3 ] ]

undo dns-server ip

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
ip1 Specifies the IP address of a preferred DNS server. The IP address is dotted decimal notation.
ip2 Specifies the IP address of spare DNS server 1. The IP address is dotted decimal notation.
ip3 Specifies the IP address of spare DNS server 2. The IP address is dotted decimal notation.
ip Specifies the IP address of a DNS server. The IP address is dotted decimal notation.

Usage Guidelines

Up to three DNS servers can be configured for a virtual gateway.

Example

# Configure the IP address of a DNS server.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] v-gateway abc
[sysname-abc] basic
[sysname-abc-basic] dns-server 10.10.10.1 10.10.10.2 10.10.10.3
