Function

The enable snmp trap updown command enables this interface to send Trap information to the NMS when its protocol state changes.

The undo enable snmp trap updown command disables this interface to send Trap information to the NMS when its protocol state changes.

Usage Guidelines

By default, the interface sends Trap information to the NMS when its protocol state changes.

When the interface is in flapping state, run the undo enable snmp trap updown command to disable Trap function on certain interfaces so that the network management system can obtain the state change of these interfaces.
