| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| start-time | Time at which an FIB is refreshed | The value ranges from 0 to 23 o'clock. |
Usage Scenario
Usually, a device refreshes an FIB at 1 o'clock every 24 hours. When the FIB is refreshed, a large amount of routing information is delivered, causing high usage of CPU. If refreshment is performed at the traffic peak period, the CPU performance may deteriorate. You can use the fib regularly-refresh start-time command to choose any time between 0 to 23 to refresh FIB entries, to prevent FIB entries from being refreshed during the traffic peak period.
Prerequisites
Ensure that the FIB every-24-hour refreshment function is enabled.
Precautions
If the system time changes, the FIB every-24-hour refreshment function fails to change the interval at which an FIB entry is refreshed accordingly. To correct the interval, run the fib regularly-refresh start-time command.
