The firewall defend ping-of-death enable command enables the Ping of Death attack defense.

The undo firewall defend ping-of-death enable command disables the Ping of Death attack defense.

Usage Guidelines

By default, the Ping of Death attack defense is disabled.

Defense against Ping of Death attacks enables a FW to check whether the sizes of packets are greater than 65535 bytes. If yes, the packets are discarded.
