Usage Guidelines

To enable the administrator to understand the usage of the online user monitoring table in a timely manner, the system generates logs and alarms when the usage of the online user monitoring table reaches the alarm threshold.

By default, function of sending logs and alarms after the online user monitoring table usage reaches the threshold is enabled.

The default alarm threshold is 80%. You can use the firewall dynamic-resource used-up alarm online-user-table threshold command to set the alarm threshold.

When the usage of the online user monitoring table reaches the alarm threshold, the system generates log UM/4/RES_OVER and alarm UM_1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.6.122.79.1.2.1 hwUmTrapOnlineUserOverThreshold.
If the usage decreases below the alarm recovery threshold (95% of the alarm threshold), the system will generate log UM/4/RES_BELOW and alarm UM_1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.6.122.79.1.2.2 hwUmTrapOnlineUserOverThresholdRecover.

To enable the NMS monitoring alarm function, run the snmp-agent trap enable feature-name um command in the system view.
