Function

The firewall log packet-discard enable command enables the function of sending packet discard logs.

The undo firewall log packet-discard enable command disables the function of sending packet discard logs.

Usage Guidelines

The function of sending packet discard logs is disabled by default.

After the firewall log packet-discard enable command is run to enable the function of sending packet discard logs, you also need to run the firewall log packet-discard { session-miss | packet-filter | default-packet-filter | ip-mac | others } command to configure the type of packet discard logs. The FW sends the logs of the specified type to the log server.

In addition, the FW supports the function of sending packet discard logs to the log buffer after the firewall log packet-discard record enable command is run.
