Usage Guidelines

After the info-center max-logfile-number command is run to set the maximum number of log files in the log directory, the system deletes the earlier log files to keep the number of remaining log files equal to or smaller than the set value.

If the number of saved log files is greater than the default value, more system resources are consumed. In this case, you need to set the maximum value as required. Excessive log files can be deleted either manually or automatically. When the system automatically deletes excessive log files, high CPU usage may last for a short period.

Example

# Set the maximum number of log files to be saved in the log directory to 100.
