interface-group name

Function

The interface-group name command creates a common interface group and accesses the common interface group view.

The undo interface-group name command deletes a common interface group.

Format

interface-group [ interface-group-id ] name interface-group-name

undo interface-group { interface-group-id | name interface-group-name }

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
interface-group-id

Specifies the ID of an interface group.

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 31.

If the value is not specified, the default value 0 is used.

interface-group-name

Specifies the name of an interface group.

The name is a case-insensitive string. The length of a name without spaces ranges from 1 to 32 characters. The length of a name with spaces ranges from 3 to 34 characters. If a name contains spaces, the name must be enclosed with quotation marks (for example, "user for test"). Question marks (?), commas (,), quotations marks ("), and hyphens (-) cannot be used.

Usage Guidelines

An intelligent uplink selection member interface can be added to only one interface group, either a common interface group or ISP interface group. An ISP interface group is created using the interface-group isp command.

Example

# Create common interface group ifgrp.

[sysname-interface-group-1]
