interface nve

Function

The interface nve command creates an NVE interface or accesses the view of an existing NVE interface.

The undo interface nve command deletes an NVE interface.

By default, no NVE interface exists.

Format

interface nve nve-number

undo interface nve nve-number

Usage Guidelines

Application Scenarios

To full use server virtualization resources, you can deploy a VXLAN to provide access services for multiple tenants. As the VXLAN tunnel information must be configured on an NVE interface, you must run the interface nve command to create the interface.

Precautions

After the VXLAN tunnel is created, you can run the undo interface nve command to delete the interface and all configurations on the interface if necessary.
