ip netstream

Function

The { ip | ipv6 } netstream command enables Netstream to collect statistics on the incoming streams on the interface.

The undo { ip | ipv6 } netstream command disables Netstream from collecting statistics on the incoming streams on the interface.

By default, NetStream is disabled.

Format

{ ip | ipv6 } netstream inbound

undo { ip | ipv6 } netstream inbound

Enables the IPv4 data flow statistics function.

Enables the IPv6 data flow statistics function.

Collects statistics on the incoming packets.

Usage Guidelines

By default, the NetStream statistics function of the interface is disabled.

To monitor or analyze the features of data flows in the inbound direction of an interface, enable the NetStream statistics function on this interface, no matter whether the NetStream is output in original flow or aggregated flow format.

After you enable this function, the device will have the function of unicast packet statistics collection enabled.

Example

# Enable NetStream to collect statistics of the incoming unicast and broadcast IPv4 packets on GigabitEthernet 0/0/1.
