Usage Guidelines

A host sending a large number of packets in a path with a small MTU to a destination may receive a large number of ICMPv6 error packets, affecting the processing of valid packets. The ipv6 icmp too-big-rate-limit command can be used to limit the number of ICMPv6 error packets and ensure the host performance.
