limit-bandwidth

Function

The limit-bandwidth command limits the maximum bandwidth of each user that matches the quota control policy whereas with the quota exceeded.

Format

limit-bandwidth bandwidth-value

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
bandwidth-value	Specifies the maximum bandwidth.	The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 102400, in Kbytes. Value 0 indicates direct block.

Usage Guidelines

The user or user group to which a quota control policy is applied can be configured. If a user is referenced by multiple quota control policies (including the reference of the user group), the actual maximum bandwidth is determined by the quota profile for the policy of the highest priority.

Example

# Configure bandwidth limit for each user whose quota is exceeded in the quota profile quota_profile and limit the maximum bandwidth at 500 Kbytes.
