The local ip command sets the IP address used when the FW sends a connection request to the Agile Controller.
The undo local ip command sets the IP address (used when the FW sends a connection request to the Agile Controller) to that of the egress selected according to the route.
| Parameter | Description | Value |
|---|---|---|
| ip-address | specifies the IP address used when the FW sends a connection request to the Agile Controller. | It is in dotted decimal notation. |
If the local ip command is not used to set the IP address or after the undo local ip command is executed, the FW selects the egress according to the route and uses the IP address of the egress to send a connection request to the Agile Controller.
After the local ip command is executed to set the IP address, the FW uses the IP address to send a connection request to the Agile Controller. To improve the reliability and stability of the connection between the FW and Agile Controller, the IP address can be set to that of the loopback interface. In this case, if redundant links exist on the network, the connection between the FW and Agile Controller is not interrupted when an interface or a link is faulty.
