long-link aging-time

Function

The long-link aging-time command sets the aging time of a policy-based persistent link.

The undo long-link aging-time command restores the default configuration.

Format

long-link aging-time interval

undo long-link aging-time

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
interval Specifies the aging time of a persistent link. It is an integer that ranges from 0 to 24000, in hours. When the value is set to 0, the persistent link does not age. The default value is 168 hours, that is, 7 days.

Usage Guidelines

When the persistent link matching the security policy does not transfer data for the specified interval, the FW deletes the session to save system resources.

Example

# Set the aging time of the persistent link for security policy a1 to 240 hours.
