pair-interface

Function

The pair-interface command creates an interfaces pair.

The undo pair-interface command deletes an interface pair.

Format

pair-interface name name

undo pair-interface name name

Parameters

Specifies the name of an interface pair.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 characters.

Usage Guidelines

An interface pair is a pair of incoming and outgoing interfaces.

After an interface pair is formed, the traffic enters the incoming interface of the interface pair is forwarded out of the outgoing interface in the interface pair, without routing table or MAC address table lookup.

If the incoming and outgoing interfaces are the same interface, the packets entering the interface are forwarded out of the same interface after being processed.
