Function

The ppp chap user command configures a local user name.

The undo ppp chap user command deletes a user name.

user-name	Specifies the remote user name on the local end.	The value is a string of 1 to 253 insensitive characters.

2: Configuration level

By default, the local user name is null.

You can run the ppp chap user command on the LAC.

While configuring CHAP authentication, user-name on the local end must be configured as the peer user.

In addition, the password on two ends must be the same.

The undo ppp chap user command deletes the configured user-name (the local FW name).
