Function

The recv-mail attachment max-amount enable command enables mail filtering by number of attachments in the receiving direction.

The undo recv-mail attachment max-amount enable command disables mail filtering by number of attachments in the receiving direction.

Usage Guidelines

Upon detecting an email encapsulated in POP3 or IMAP, the FW performs filtering on the email by size and number of attachments in the receiving direction.

Limiting the number of attachments in the receiving direction prevents the transmission of undesired information, such as gambling and pornographic information on the intranet.

The recv-mail attachment max-amount enable command enables mail filtering by number of attachments in the receiving direction.

By default, after a mail filtering profile is created, mail filtering by number of attachments in the receiving direction is enabled.
