rename interface-group

Function

The rename interface-group command renames a common interface group.

Format

rename interface-group old-name new-name

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
old-name

Specifies the name of an interface group.

new-name

Specifies the new name of the interface group.

The value is a case-insensitive string. If the name does not contain any spaces, the value contains 1 to 32 characters. If the name contains spaces, the value contains 3 to 34 characters and must be enclosed with double quotation marks, for example, "user for test". The name cannot contain any question marks (?), commas (,), quotation marks ("), or hyphens (-).

Usage Guidelines

After you run the interface-group name name command to create a common interface group and you want to change the name of the interface group, you need to use the rename interface-group command.

Example

# Rename interface group ifgrp1 to ifgrp2.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] rename interface-group ifgrp1 ifgrp2
