Usage Guidelines
The command can clear traffic statistics on a virtual-IF interface.
After you run the reset firewall statistics system command, statistics in the display firewall statistics system { brief | discard | received | transmitted } [ all ] command output are cleared, and the counting is restarted.
The execution of the reset firewall statistics system command does not clear statistics on all entries in the display firewall statistics system table [ all ] command output. The statistics are automatically cleared and the counting is restarted after the device is restarted.
