The restart command restarts the current interface.

Usage Guidelines

The effect of the restart command is equal to executing the shutdown command and the undo shutdown command successively.

When an interface is configured with a sub-interface, the interval for consecutively running the restart command on the main interface needs to be 15 seconds at least.
