role enable

Function

The role enable command enables the function of a role.

The undo role enable command disables the function in a role.

Format

role role-name { web-proxy | files-share | port-forwarding | network-extension }* enable

undo role role-name { web-proxy | files-share | port-forwarding | network-extension }* enable

Parameters

Parameter Description Value

role-name

Specifies the role name.

The value must be an existing role name.

web-proxy

Enable the Web proxy function.

files-share

Enable the file sharing function.

-

port-forwarding

Enable the port forwarding function.

network-extension

Enable the network extension function.

Usage Guidelines

After the functions of a role are enabled, the users which belong to the role can use these functions.

By default, the function is disabled.

Only the USG6510E/6510E-POE/6530E does not support this command.

For USG6510E/6510E-POE/6530E, the network extension function is enabled for the role and cannot be disabled.

# Enable the fire sharing and port forwarding functions of role role1.
